Benjy “benjyfishy” UK Professional Esports Player
Benjy “benjyfishy” Fish is a professional esports player from the UK.
After Epic Games announced that the age restriction for qualification to the 2019 Fortnite had been lowered to thirteen, Benjy became eligible to compete. This allowed him to burst onto the competitive scene and was signed by NRG Esports as a professional Fortnite player.
He became one of the first players in the world to secure a qualification for both Fortnite World Cup events after placing 3rd in the Week 1 Solo Qualifier event and 1st in the Week 2 Duo Qualifier event.
Since the World Cup, Benjy continued his success dominating Season X with Mongraal and Mitr0 (MMB), and in duo tournaments with Mr Savage as well as solos. Benjy finished 2021 Ranked No1 in Europe Cumulative for PC on Gamepedia.
Since the World Cup, Benjy has travelled the world playing tournaments and continues to dominate the scene. As Benjy’s career grows so do his social media numbers, as he has over two million followers on Instagram and three million on Twitch.
Behind The Keyboard is a series by GameLogic featuring the most brilliant minds in the Gaming Industries. In episode one GameLogic hung out with the Fish family to talk about Benjy's growth into becoming one of the most recognisable faces in esports.
Valorant
In June 2022 Benjy made the decision to quit competitive Fortnite to pursue a career as a professional Valorant player. In December 2022 he left NRG to take the next step in this career and is now playing with Enterprise in the Valorant Challengers League East.
